Today's episode wraps up our season in a special way: In October, we had the privilege of attending Renaissance Theater Works' production of "The How and the Why", by Sarah Treem. The play is perceptive, intimate, and puts front and center the difficult dilemmas faced by women of every generation. It dives deep into the confluences of nature vs nurture, science and destiny, evolution and emotions throughout the two female scientists interactions, eventually revealing their complex and mysterious connection. We asked women in the audience to share a thought on what they love about their bodies, what they love about being a woman, and set their responses to the amazing music of Colleen Webb of Casual Vocals.
Interwovxn was created as space to take control of middle life’s narrative, claim our power, and collect our stories. The insights, challenges, ideas, music, relationships, recipes, moments, histories... that make a woman’s middle life rich and textured.
